In no particular order I am a daughter, sister, aunt, animal-loving homeowner, book-reading progressive; a lover of gadgets and puzzles of discovering and creating, an Eco-conscious optimist, a friend, an introvert and above all else, I’m a human—who believes in the Golden Rule.
I have worked in a variety of roles since graduating from Baldwin-Wallace College with a dual degree in English and sports medicine. My employment background includes a stint as a Disney Store cast member, administrative assistant, high school English teacher, tech writer, adult professional development coordinator and now I’m a freelance contractor doing a slew of different jobs. I regularly help maintain author web sites, coordinate social media, review books and photograph high school sporting events. I have also formatted ebooks, worked as a proofreader and assisted with SEO optimization.
In my spare time I’m a very avid reader and an outspoken advocate for the importance of reading. I love hiking and training with my dog, crafting, and I putter in my flowerbeds when time permits. My variety of hobbies and interests have enabled me to see the world from different perspectives and integrate that into all the work I do.
I’m an animal lover to the nth degree. I have a chocolate Lab, Nestlé, a Labradoodle, Rufus, and three rescue cats, so working with animals comes naturally to me and I hope to do more of it in the coming years.
